What Steve does with an old window

I love finding new uses for old things. Not only does it save some space in the landfill, but I love the rough-around-the-edges character that old things contribute to a room. There’s nothing like filling your home with brand new store-bought items to make it feel like you live inside a magazine. Yuck!

stevewindowMy brother-in-law, Steve, has been transforming old windows into works of art. He paints and etches on both sides of the glass, adding depth to the art that you couldn’t achieve on another surface. Hung in front of a window, or lit from behind, the effect is amazing and the colors spring to life. If you’re interested in purchasing one, send me an email and I will put you in touch with Steve.
